The Powerball Ticket

the powerball ticket2006.02.13–Alfred, Ohio. The powerball jackpot is estimated to reach $300 million in Wednesday nights drawing. I’m feeling pretty lucky these days, so why not?

What would anyone do with all that money? I hear it is pretty lonely at the top, so I decided I’d take up to 99 of my family, friends, and co-workers with me should we win. Here is the deal. I’m selling 1/100th portions of the ticket you see at right… a penny for each share.

The rules are pretty simple. This offer is void where prohibited. I’ll not sell more than one share to anyone. First come, first served. I will retain any shares that do not sell. This means that if I can only sell 30 cents worth of the ticket (not much of a salesman), my share would be 70%.

Here is a list of the people that have purchased or pledged to purchase a portion of the ticket.
